Manual wheelchair tie down straps are similar to seat belts that attach to four different points on the wheelchair and then are secured to anchors that are built into the floor system of the wheelchair accessible van. Wheelchair tie down straps are a legally necessary safety precaution to keep a passenger safe and secure while the van is in transit.
